Known for its beaches, luxury hotels, and tourism, Cyprus acts as a catalyst for high-quality education with affordable tuition and facilities. The government of Cyprus invests a lot in education so it would not be any trouble for the students to find their desired field of international standards. More than 7% of the GDP is spent on education and maintaining its standards and has the third-largest share in the EU falling behind Denmark and Sweden. The educational system of Cyprus is quite peculiar as the most famous field of study is Hospitality and Tourism, which means that the country is warm and known for these two areas. But the educational fields are not only limited to these.

Even though Cyprus is a part of the EU, the education system is based on the American system of education. Their courses are varied, and students can choose their courses and the workload according to their will. This means that the fewer subjects they study the less they would have to pay. But the education system is complicated and more expensive than in other countries. But it does not mean that it is inaccessible as students can apply for merit-based scholarships.

Accessible Courses

Most colleges and universities start in February, but the students need to apply 2-3 weeks before. And instead of a pass-fail system, the testing is done based on the projects, research, and thesis.  Hence it makes it easier for students to work on a group-based system.

Affordable Accommodation

The students are kept comfortable throughout the process of acquiring the best education. The “Good Institutions” have their dormitories and the accommodation for one-month costs about 150 EUR. The college also helps the students in finding apartments and houses that are financially limited and are unable to rent an apartment.
