Canada has ranked in the top 20 countries for the Quality of Life Index in the past few years. With a vibrant wildlife to match and a chill for those favoring cooler weather, it’s no wonder that Canada is an attractive country for immigration. Furthermore, the Canadian government encourages immigration because it allows new and fresh minds to contribute to the population and enable regulation of the economic workforce by the entry of skilled immigrants.

Economic and Business Immigration

World Consultants Pvt. Ltd. can help you apply for the following visas in this category:

Express Entry

This is thought to be the fastest and most popular way to immigrate to Canada and gain permanent residence. For this type of immigration, ideal candidates are thought to be college/university graduates with skilled work experience under their belt and proficiency in English and French as language.

Candidates receive a Canadian Ranking System (CRS) score, the higher your rank, the better your chance of immigration. The CRS score is determined based on several factors including education level, work experience, language proficiency, age, and Canadian connections.

Express Entry is divided into 3 immigration programs as follows:

• Federal Skilled Worker Program
• Federal Skilled Trades Program
• Canadian Experience Class

Once you submit your profile online you shall be recommended one of these programs based on the information given to form the CRS score. You should then work on gathering and organizing your documents. Candidates will need a valid passport, language test results, educational credential assessment report, proof of funds and a written job offer or work experience.

Invitations to apply are sent to candidates based on their Express Entry profile and CRS score. The candidates with the highest scores are selected and shall be given 90 days to submit an application for permanent residency in Canada.

On average, processing complete applications with documents takes about 6 months.

Eligibility, profile submission and visa application processes are expertly evaluated by the staff at World Consultants so that they may guide interested candidates towards a successful application and a smooth transition towards immigration. Provincial Nominee Programs

This is for candidates who wish to get Canadian permanent residency in a specific province or sub-territory of Canada. Each province has its PNP stream and immigration goals they work to meet in terms of demographics, and they all operate differently for their individual Provincial Nominee Programs. Programs may target students, business owners and developers, skilled workers and semi-skilled workers based on the immigration goals of each province.

Make sure to look into the province and/or territory you’re applying to for their policies and processes for its PNP.

How you apply depends on which Provincial Nominee Program stream you choose. You will be going with either the paper-based process or the Express Entry process.

Paper-based Process

The candidates first apply for nomination under a Non-Express Entry stream to their chosen province or territory. You must meet the provincial eligibility requirement in order to be successful.

Once nominated, you submit a paper application for permanent residence in Canada. Please note that a police certificate and medical examination will be a part of this process. Application processing times for this specific route of immigration are known to be longer than that of Express Entry.

Express Entry Process

The Express Entry Process also has two further divisions; applying for nomination under Express Entry streams or creating an Express Entry profile to showcase to different provinces and territories.

If you choose nomination under Express Entry streams and a province nominates you, you will create an Express Entry profile or update an existing one if you have it.

If you choose to create an Express Entry profile and a province or territory sends you a notification of interest, you then apply directly to their respective Express Entry Stream.

Nominations are made by the following Provinces and Territories:

• Alberta
• British Columbia
• Manitoba
• New Brunswick
• Newfoundland and Labrador
• Northwest Territories
• Nova Scotia
• Ontario
• Prince Edward Island
• Saskatchewan
• Yukon

Given that processes and eligibility criteria may vary between provinces, we recommend prospective candidates to approach us with their desired province so our experts may guide them through the best course of action.
